Robb Young

Robb Young is the Global Markets Editor at The Business of Fashion (BoF). As a strategic consultant, fashion business journalist, luxury industry editor and author, his writing has appeared in the Financial Times, New York Times, International Herald Tribune, and, among other publications. His book Power Dressing was published in 2011. From BoF's London headquarters, Robb oversees content, contributors and correspondents from Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Latin America, Africa, the CIS and Eastern Europe. He commissions, edits and writes features and news from these regions. Active in the expansion of The Business of Fashion brand to overseas territories, he led the November 2014 launch of the Chinese edition of the site called BoF时装商业评论 ( and manages BoF China's Shanghai-based editorial team. Robb oversees BoF's content collaboration with McKinsey & Company for a joint industry report called The State of Fashion (first published in December 2016) and with the World Economic Forum for its participation in BoF events in New York and Hong Kong (2016). Working closely with BoF's CEO/founder, he co-launched and co-led the programming of content for VOICES, BoF's annual gathering for big thinkers connecting the global fashion industry to the wider world (2016, 2017).
