Jennie Rosén

A visionary in her field, Jennie Rosén is dedicated to take fashion forward by encouraging collaborations within and across disciplines. Driven by design, culture and technology her focus is set on innovation to reform the fashion system on a regional and global level. Growing up in an entrepreneurial family, Rosén successfully mastered to align creative visions and business. She graduated in fashion design and economy and gained experience along the fashion supply chain. Between 2011- 2017 she has been the CEO and Co-owner of the progressive Swedish fashion brand Ann-Sofie Back/BACK. In 2018 she was appointed CEO of Swedish Fashion Council. Since her appointment Rosén has driven Swedish Fashion Councils national and international activities. The tech fashion collaboration with Fashion Institute of Technology in New York and NEUE has led to the establishment of a unique Fashion Tech Accelerator Program to be launched in Spring 2019 in Sweden. For the first time Swedish Fashion Council has launched the international design competition during London Fashion Week in collaboration with the Swedish Forest industry, to start a dialogue about viscose and support emerging talents from around the globe. Beginning in February 2019 fashion week activities will follow a new agenda shaping the future of Swedish fashion by positioning brands, innovation and design conceptually in an international market.
