Evaluation Survey Privacy Notice

  • Who is collecting the data?

University of the Arts London, based in the UK. We’re one of the partners delivering the DeFINE project.

  • What data is being collected?

Your full name and email.

  • What is the legal basis for processing the data?

For the delivery of the contract we have in place with you through attending the DeFINE project event.

  • Will the data be shared with any third parties?

The data will be stored on UAL’s own private server and in SurveyMonkey which is the web platform we use to gather and analyse survey feedback. You can read SurveyMonkey’s privacy policy here:  https://www.surveymonkey.com/mp/legal/privacy-policy/

SurveyMonkey are located outside the EEA and have certified compliance with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework.

For the management of events and project reporting purposes we may also share your data with the DeFINE consortium partner organisations and our co-funder, the European Union.

  • How will the information be used?

We will only use your data to evaluate the project and to contact you about the DeFINE project, we won’t share on with any other third parties.

  • How long will the data be stored for?

We will store your data till 30 June 2026. We are required by the European Commission to keep data for reporting and auditing purposes for a period of five years after the completion of the project on 30 June 202.

  • What rights do I have?

You have the right change your mind about us storing and processing your data at any time. Simply get in touch with contact@define-network.eu and we’ll delete your details from our own files and SurveyMonkey.

  • How can the data subject raise a complaint?
